90 years of success at the Paris Air Show

In Press conference held today, M. Philippe Debrun EADS SOCATA President and CEO indicated the General aviation and aerostructures manufacturer born in 1911 under the name Morane-Saulnier celebrates its 90th anniversary at the 44th Paris Air Show in a positive environment : 125 aircraft will be delivered this year compared to 73 last year and the aerostructures adds new programs such as the Embraer ERJ170/190 rear fuselage section and Eurocopter EC 130 fuselage and canopy structure.

Besides two vintage aircraft out of its past - a replica of the 1913 MS type H and a MS 138 "Parasol" two seater of year 1927 - EADS SOCATA presents its 6/7 seat TBM business aircraft range, the whole single seat TB GT range and two new versions of its aircraft:

  • A quick change version of the TBM 700, with pilot door and reinforced floor ;
  • The single piston 4/5 seat Socata TB 20 Trinidad GT "Premium" limited edition equipped with multifunction colour display Honeywell KMD 550 and the spectacular Hartzell "Scimitar" propeller.

EADS SOCATA will welcome at the Paris Air Show the first TBM owners World Gathering. Ten participating aircraft, most of them coming in flight from the USA, will make a stop at the Paris Air and will be on display on June 23rd and 24th.
