With a constant production of nearly one hundred aircraft, including high speed turboprop TBM 700 and single-piston 4/5 seat TB GT family of touring and training aircraft, a growing business in products and services for general aviation and healthy prospective for, EADS Socata is the leading General Aviation manufacturer in Europe.

The commissioning of a new production plant for structural elements enables EADS Socata to participate in major aerospace programs, such as the business trijet Dassault Falcon 7X and the Airbus A380.

Other key achievements in 2003 include the 20-year anniversary of the TB 30 Epsilon’s entry into service. This two-seater, military trainer is in service with several Air Forces all over the world. The fleet of 150 Epsilon in service has achieved a milestone 500,000 flying hours.

Socata Aircraft Inc. Socata’s arm in North America

Socata Aircraft, Inc., headquartered at North Perry Airport (HWO) in Southern Florida, is the North American arm of EADS Socata. dedicated to the sale and support of its TBM 700 and TB GT line of aircraft. Socata Aircraft, Inc’s US distributors today are Airlink (TB GT only) in New York area , Columbia Aircraft Sales (TBM only) in Connecticut, Cutter Aviation in Texas, New Avex in California, and Muncie Aircraft Company in Indiana. Their combined distribution territories represent two thirds of the US market, measured in terms of aircraft and pilots population. The other third is covered by Socata Aircraft, Inc., mainly in the South-Eastern states, but also in the Pacific Northwest where new sales office have opened in 2003.
