The TBM 700C2 certified in Brazil

Following the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe, Brazil has given its approval to the C2 TBM 700 version C2. The Departamento of Aviação Civil (DAC), the Brazilian equivalent of the European Air Safety Agency (EASA), certified the TBM 700C2, thus introducing the turboprop to the Brazilian market, one of the largest on the continent, with about 10,000 registered aircraft, including a fleet of 1,335 jets, which has shown steady growth over the past 12 years. The first TBM 700C2 should arrive in Brazil before the end of January, 2005. Like their North American, Australian and European counterparts, Brazilian pilots now be able to benefit from its maximum ramp weight of 7,428 lbs.(3,370 kg), strengthened wheels and seats dynamically tested to more than 20 gs in line with amendment 44 of the FAR 23 regulation. The TBM 700 C2 can offer the following flight profile combinations:
• A 1,347 lbs (611 kg) maximum payload on a course of 1,074 Nm with 45-min reserves;
• A maximum mission distance of 1,565 Nm with a load of 1,347 lbs (392 kg) and 45-min reserves.

O Departamento de Aviação Civil (DAC), equivalente brasileiro da Agência Européia de Segurança Aérea (EASA), homologou o TBM 700C2, introduzindo esta aeronave no mercado Brasileiro, um dos maiores do continente com aproximadamente 10,000 aeronaves registradas, incluindo uma frota de 1,335 jatos, que vem demonstrando crescimento sustendado nos últimos 12 anos. O primeiro TBM 700C2 deverá chegar ao Brasil antes do fim de Janeiro de 2005. A exemplo de seus pares na América do Norte, Austrália e Europa, os pilotos Brasileiros poderão agora se beneficiar de seu peso máximo de rampa de 7,428 lbs (3,370 kg), rodas reforçadas e assentos testados dinamicamente em mais de 20 gs, que atendem o anexo 44 da norma FAR 23. O TBM 700C2 pode oferecer as seguintes combinações de perfil de vôo:
• Carga útil máxima de 1,347 lbs (611 kg) em trajeto de 1,074 Nm com 45 minutos de reserva
• Alcance máximo de 1,565 Nm com carga de 1,347 lbs (392 kg) e 45 minutos de reserva
