Mark Diaz graduated with Honors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Mark chose the civilian approach to becoming a professional pilot, which began as a Certified Flight Instructor. In the 1990's mark also managed flight departments for Cabin-Class twin operators. Mark has been a Captain on the SAAB 340 and J3100 Jetstream for Northwest Airlink. His professional pilot career took off when he became a Flight Engineer on the Boeing B727 which was quickly followed by an upgrade to Airbus A320 First Officer at United Airlines.
Mark started his career at EADS SOCATA North America as the TBM demo pilot for North, Central and South America. Recently Mark represented EADS Socata in the Pacific Northwest (U.S.A. & Canada).
Today Mark represents the TBM 850 in Australia and New Zealand from the Gold Coast Airport in Southeast Queensland. This year Mark has helped Australians, Canadians and Americans find the solution to owning their first TBM.
